pack.page provides a URL shortening service that allows users to create shorter, cleaner links to web content. Links have predefined expiration periods as selected by the user at the time of creation.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use our service to:

• Create, share, or promote links to illegal content
• Engage in phishing, scamming, or other fraudulent activities
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, abuse, or harm other individuals
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or hack our services

We reserve the right to remove links that violate these terms without notice.

4. Fair Use Policy

To ensure service reliability and availability for all users, the following fair use policies apply:

• Rate Limiting: Our service enforces rate limits to prevent abuse. Current limits are 5 requests per minute and 30 requests per hour for most endpoints. Private domain customers may have different limits as specified in their service agreements. If you need higher limits, please contact us at the email below.
• System Stability: Any actions that compromise or attempt to compromise the stability, performance, or security of our systems may result in immediate termination of service access.
• Automated Access: Automated or programmatic access to our services is permitted only through our documented API and in accordance with these terms. Web scraping or other methods of bulk data collection are prohibited unless explicitly authorised.
• IP Blocking: We reserve the right to block IP addresses or IP ranges that show patterns of abuse, excessive usage, or malicious behavior.
• Device Bans: Devices associated with violations of these terms may be temporarily suspended or permanently banned from using this and all brainpolo services.

Attempts to circumvent these fair use policies, including using multiple accounts or IP addresses to bypass rate limits, may result in permanent exclusion from our service.

We monitor system usage and may adjust these fair use policies at any time to maintain service quality. Changes to these policies will be reflected in updates to these Terms of Service.

5. Service Limitations

Links created through our service will automatically expire based on the timeframe selected at creation if they are not revisited in the stated auto-expiry period.

Whilst we strive to keep our service up and running 24/7, the service is offered free of charge for personal use and so we do not provide any uptime or availability guarantees. That being said, our own services interdepend on each other, and we take service reliability very seriously. You can see our track record on our uptime page.

If you are a customer of our service, you are entitled to uptime and availability guarantees as defined in our SLA page.

We may implement rate limiting to prevent abuse of our system. Attempting to circumvent these limitations may result in temporary or permanent restrictions.

6. Intellectual Property

We invest a great deal of thought, time, and resources into the design and development of our service. That being said, it goes without saying that all content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with pack.page are the intellectual property of the pack.page team at brainpolo or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of these materials without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Our service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. As an anonymous and open service, we cannot and do not guarantee that our service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
